West Ham’s Josh Cullen says he doesn’t regret going on loan to Charlton Athletic as he desperately needs to play.
The 22-year-old midfielder claimed an assist in his first appearance for Charlton and is hoping it is a good sign for his loan spell.“I needed to be playing games,” Cullen said to whufc.com.“Manuel Pellegrini was very supportive of me, saying I could stay around and try to push for my opportunity. But I couldn’t hold on to see how results went.”
